Job Description for: Senior Account Executive

Description/Scope
The Senior Account Executive leads revenue-generating activities for the company. Day-to-day functions include: management of sales activity, customer engagement, alignment on sales strategies and tactical execution, delivering pipeline and forecasting reports to the Executive Leadership Team, and marketing and promoting DoubleCheck’s products and services to variety of audiences. Additional duties may include collaboration on corporate fundraising activities.
Essential Duties: Process
- Develops sales plans and strategies
- Creates sales reports, maintains data in CRM
- Organizes and maintains sales operations, including pricing methodology
- Locates opportunities to expand the client base
- Develops sales training programs
- Manages sales budget
- Collaborates on marketing budget
- Monitors market and competitor activity
- Improves customer satisfaction by anticipating needs
- Identifies where improvements can be made and takes action on addressing them, and/or collaborates with the broader team when required
- Manages detailed sales expectations and plans accordingly
- Monitors customer activity
- Communicates and fosters relationships with clients
- Works collaboratively to set realistic goals in line with company expectations
- Works to ensure sales and productivity goals are met.
- Assists in designing marketing and promotional materials both in print and online.
- Collaborating with company leadership to continually improve processes and timelines that may lead to greater customer satisfaction and company revenue.
Essential Duties: Revenue Generation
- Takes charge of select leads and opportunities and pushes them through the sales funnel to close.
- Develops and implements tactics and strategies to improve sales time to close to 3 months
- Engages frequently and collaboratively with the executive leadership team

- Is familiar with the Microsoft suite of products as well as CRM systems

- Can conduct independent research
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Open-minded thinking to accommodate potential new business models, customer insights, market dynamics.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business or the equivalent of at least 5 years of sales and sales leadership experience.
- Can demonstrate a successful sales record
- Has had experience with managing a sales budget
- Can provide examples of sales strategies and results
